GIVING WITH CONTEXT

How does a donation support BTGL’s mission?

Beyond the Goal Line serves former Ohio State athletes who have entered a time of critical need because of unforeseen, detrimental circumstances. Donations support the organization’s ability to bring together practical resources, mentorship and financial assistance. The type of support considered depends on the circumstances shared through BTGL’s confidential contact process.

A listed giving level is simply a way to choose an amount. It does not reserve a donation for a named person, publish a beneficiary story or promise a specific result. BTGL protects the privacy of people who seek help and does not use personal case details as fundraising content. Supporters can select one of the six fixed levels or enter another amount through the same secure checkout process.

The giving choices use familiar names to organize six fixed amounts, followed by an option for a donor to choose another amount. Each selection opens the secure checkout assigned to that choice. These are one-time donation options; this page does not promise a recurring plan. People interested in giving by another method can write to the published BTGL email address before sending anything.

Financial support is not the only way to participate. The options below also direct volunteers, potential mentors, event sponsors and people offering goods or professional services to the appropriate next step. That keeps donation checkout focused on gifts while giving other supporters a clear route to contact the organization about what they can offer.

Donors who need clarification can contact BTGL before choosing an amount. The public contact page provides the organization’s email address, mailing address and a form with a donating or sponsoring topic. It also explains what happens after a message is sent and how confidential athlete-support inquiries are handled separately from general supporter questions. Before using this website or an outside checkout, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of use.

People who want to understand the work before giving can review the Beyond the Goal Line mission and the resources, mentorship and financial assistance described by BTGL. Questions about donating, volunteering, sponsorships or in-kind support can be sent through the confidential BTGL contact page.
