Information you provide

If you contact Beyond the Goal Line (“BTGL”), sign up for updates, seek information about programs, or make a donation, you may provide information such as your name, email address, contact details, message, or transaction-related information. Please avoid sending highly sensitive personal information through general website forms or email.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Optional site-controlled tracking is off until you consent. On your first visit, the banner lets you accept, reject, or manage optional categories. is also available in the footer on every page. Strictly necessary functions remain available without optional consent.

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): With Analytics consent, the Google tag (measurement ID G-9BVEVLLREF) measures page views and site interactions, including donation-link clicks and successful contact or volunteer inquiries. It may set _ga and _ga_* cookies. No Google tag is loaded before consent or after rejection. Google Consent Mode v2 starts with denied permissions; analytics permission is granted only when you opt in. Advertising-related signals are granted only with Marketing/Advertising consent and when Global Privacy Control is not enabled. No Google Ads tag, Meta pixel, or other advertising SDK is currently configured.
  • Consent preference storage: The site stores your category choices, consent version and timestamp in localStorage on this browser. This necessary record is used to honor your choices, not to track you across websites. We ask again after 12 months or when the consent version changes. If storage is unavailable, optional tools stay off and the consent controls explain that your choice could not be saved.
  • Replit hosting and operational measurements: Replit delivers the website and provides hosting-level traffic measurements using network and browser information, such as IP traffic, separately from GA4. These hosting measurements are cookieless; the site does not add a Replit analytics cookie or browser tracking tag. Necessary hosting, load-balancing and security functions may process technical information and use operational cookies where needed to deliver and protect the service. Cookie Preferences controls site-managed optional tools, not Replit's hosting-level measurements or essential server logging.
  • Fonts, images and video: The Archivo font and site images are served from this website, not requested from Google Fonts. The Home page video is also site-hosted. It loads only with Embedded media consent or after you explicitly click its load control. Clicking a single video does not enable Analytics or Marketing. No third-party video player, map, booking service, payment iframe or social widget is embedded on the site.
  • Contact forms and email delivery: When you submit the contact form, the site's API processes your name, email, topic and message and uses Postmark to deliver the email. This user-requested communication, validation, rate limiting and security processing do not depend on optional tracking consent. The footer's current signup control does not send information to a mailing-list provider.
  • Payments and external links: Donation buttons open GoDaddy Payments hosted checkout only when you choose to follow a payment link; no payment tracking SDK is loaded in these pages. Facebook, Google Maps directions and The Big Game Shootout are external links, not automatic embeds. Those services receive information when you visit them, and their own privacy and cookie policies apply. BTGL does not receive your full payment-card details through this site's contact form.

You can withdraw optional consent through Cookie Preferences. Withdrawal stops future site-managed analytics events, removes accessible GA cookies and reloads the page when needed to stop an already-loaded tool; it cannot undo information previously sent. You can also clear cookies and localStorage or block cookies in your browser, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Browser controls may affect necessary site features. Global Privacy Control (GPC): When your browser sends GPC, we treat Marketing/Advertising and sale/sharing permissions as rejected, even if previously selected. You may still choose Analytics or Embedded media separately. We do not sell personal information.

How information may be used or shared

Information may be used to respond to inquiries, communicate about BTGL activities, administer donations or requests, maintain and improve the website, and address security or operational needs. Information may be handled by service providers supporting website, analytics, communications, or payment functions, and may be disclosed when required by law or as appropriate to protect people, rights, or property. The specific providers and practices may change.

Third-party services and links

Some features, including donation or external links, may be operated by third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before providing information through their services.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence and whether the applicable law covers BTGL, US state privacy laws may give you rights to know about and access your personal information, obtain a portable copy, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, and opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising or certain profiling. You may also have a right to appeal a denied request and to exercise your rights without discrimination. We do not sell personal information. We honor GPC for Marketing/Advertising and sale/sharing choices on this website.

To request access, correction or deletion, ask about these rights, or appeal our response, email info@btgl.life or use the Contact page. Please describe your request without sending highly sensitive information. We may need to verify your identity or an authorized agent's authority, and legal exceptions or retention duties may limit a request. Cookie Preferences lets you change browser-level optional tracking choices without contacting us.
